Complete Generator Maintenance: The Power Up Program
Eliminate costly service trips and unexpected failures with a Preventative Maintenance (PM) plan for your generator. We service All makes and models. A customized scheduled maintenance program for your backup power system will ensure that your system is always in top operating condition and that your warranty requirements are met. Experienced technicians will change the oil, coolant and filters on a set schedule. They’ll make sure the battery, hoses and belts are in good shape and carefully inspect wear points in order to prevent problems before they occur. Additional extensive maintenance such as fuel polishing and load bank testing is also available.
Power Up Packages are comprehensive warranties offered in 5, 7, and 10 year increments.
We recommend having your generator serviced twice per year at six month intervals by one of our Generac Certified Technicians. These services include an Operational Inspection and a Comprehensive Service Inspection. Having service performed twice per year helps ensure your generator will work as expected.
The Operational Inspection is a complete inspection of the generator and transfer switch, which includes checking the voltage and frequency sensors. Inspection of the coolant system, fuel system, air induction and exhaust system, lube oil system, starting system, engine monitors and safety controls will also be conducted.
The Comprehensive Inspection is a complete Operational Inspection plus changing of the oil and filters. A full-line of power generation components and 24-hour hotline service via dispatch of our Power-Up Trucks is available throughout our service areas which range across 14 states, from Texas all the way to the eastern seaboard.
