Worried about your generator’s need for fuel during a long outage? The solution is a natural gas (gaseous) Generac generator.
Generac’s gaseous generators are specifically designed to meet demanding industrial applications, with models ranging from 25kW to 750kW. All of our products are EPA emissions certified from the factory, not compliant which requires costly site certification.
Natural Gas Generators = Gaseous: Clean and Reliable
Natural gas generators are becoming the preferred solution for many applications due to their longer runtimes, easier permitting, and significantly lower emissions compared to diesel. Generac’s natural gas generators require virtually no maintenance and rely on a strong underground pipeline network, ensuring a steady fuel supply even in adverse weather conditions. Tested and trusted, our natural gas generators set the standard for clean and efficient power.
Generac Gaseous Generators are known for their reliability and durability:
- Output ratings ranging from 25kW to 750kW
- Generac-manufactured alternators (under 400kW)
- Generac-designed fuel delivery, cooling and exhaust systems
- Automatic shutdown protection system
- Solid state sensing and starting controls
- Permanent magnet excitation (standard in gensets 125kW and above)
- Generac-built, factory warranted custom enclosures (standard or sound-attenuated)
- Prime movers hand selected from the best designs in the world and modified to Generac Specifications
- UL 2200 Listed and EPA Certified
- Scalable using MPS with total output up to 4500kW
As an alternative, Bi-Fuel is the simultaneous use of two different fuels to power the engine on a standby generator set. For Bi-Fuel operation, Generac uses a mixture of diesel fuel and natural gas (NG) in a diesel engine. Generac’s Bi-Fuel generators are EPA certified and UL2200 listed from the factory. All other Bi-fuel products are aftermarket systems retrofitted in the field requiring costly emissions site testing and ongoing recertifying and may also affect the UL2200 listing of the product.
