This is one of our largest projects to date, and one of our more interesting. We were able to provide backup power for an aerospace facility in Asheville, NC.
This facility is over 1 million sq ft of space, most of it manufacturing for various aerospace materials. We ultimately decided that the best solution was to use 8 generators. 4 MG750, modular, natural-gas fueled, 750 kw generators and then 4 more units- all SG150’s.
This is the last of 4 of these for this portion of the project, producing 3 Mw of power. All of the MG750’s will be on the roof of the building, which required careful consideration and planning.
The project will include state of the art generator paralleling, system design, and logistical coordination.
