Founded in 2001, Energy Systems Southeast, LLC- or ESSE as we say around the office- is a proven name in the power systems industry offering comprehensive emergency power system services to residential and industrial customers throughout the southeast. We haven’t always been as large and widespread as we are now, though.
The company got started with a few generous donors and a steward to run the business. Then it became a small team, and the focus back then was mostly heating and cooling. In fact, our original logo was made with that industry in mind.
A lot has changed since then. We have expanded our Sales territory to 5 states and our Service territory to 14. We are Generac’s most awarded distributor, and we have gone from a team of under 10 to over 250 team members! But one thing has remained the same: our commitment to keeping our customers safe, healthy, and happy.
Making sure that everyone can keep the lights on and the refrigerator running is only part of what we do. Our ethos is about providing MORE THAN POWER because access to electricity is so much more than a power generation goal. Our job is to make sure people remain happy, healthy, and safe at their homes and businesses. We are in the business of providing peace of mind for everyone in the states we serve! And it is an honor.
A company culture only becomes reality if every member of the team believes in it, and that’s what we have fostered here at ESSE. We are all dedicated to delivering excellence for out customers, but also for each other. We show up, we work hard, and we support each other. Whatever you have on the inside ends up bleeding out into the extenal world, and we have plenty of evidence of that.

Our process is simple, to solve a problem you have to understand it really well. So our first step is always talking with you to hear about your needs, your situation, and even coming out to take a look if we need to make sure. Once we feel confident, you will get a FREE quote of the total of our estimate for our services to totally complete our project, plus any recommendations like warranties. Then we will get it done as quickly as possible without rushing. We are thorough and skilled, so that’s never a problem. Then of course we want to hear from you at the end to make sure we have completed the job to your satisfaction! At the end of the day, we are helping prepare your home or business so our priority is your health and safety.
